FOUR OF THE BEST remaining examples of the International Style in New Orleans' residential architecture can be found in the Lake Vista neighborhood, the site of the PRC's Modernist Home Tour on June 21. The tour provides the public with a rare peek inside these privately owned treasures. The event is part of the PRC's Mid Mod NOLA summer series, exploring the best of Mid-Century Modern architecture in the city.    In the post-World War II period, local architects such as Leon Francis Dufrechou, John W. Lawrence, George Saun- ders, Edward Sporl and Scotty Maxwell explored bold new ideas and designs in Lake Vista.
