Beams and Brews visits a former monastery on N. Rampart

Designed by James Freret, this 1891 green-rated building originally housed The Monastery of St. Joseph and St. Teresa of the Discalced Carmelites of New Orleans. Today, Bancroft Property Investments and Rick Fifield Architects are managing the adaptive reuse project that will result in residential units. Beams & Brews offers a chance to view the property inside and out, hear from the project’s managers and enjoy free drinks. The PRC’s Beams & Brews series is generously supported by Nola Brewing.
