Beams & Brews visits Algiers Point

Online ticket sales have closed. Tickets will be available for purchase at the doors of the event!
The PRC’s Beams & Brews series is presented by Reve Realtors and generously supported by Nola Brewing.
The Katz-Ryba family welcomes the PRC to tour the renovation of their residence, 705 Pelican Avenue. Johnice Katz, interior designer, and Andrew Ryba, McKinsey associate partner, took on the restoration of a double gallery Greek Revival center hall with the vital aid of Katherine O’Bryon, owner of Goldfish Construction and Jesse Hidalgo, owner of 1st Hand Woodworks. Described as the most elaborate example of Greek Revival architecture in Algiers Point, the home was built around the mid-19th century for prominent local businessman Francois Vallette and was later occupied by undertaker and councilman John A. Barrett. Beams and Brews offers a chance to view the property inside and out, hear from the owners and general contractor, and enjoy free drinks!
