This 12 hr. course offered by PRC and A Shared Initiative, Inc. is certified by the LA Education Collaborative.
It acquaints prospective buyers with the details of purchase contracts, insurance, fiscal fitness, budgeting, home maintenance, and more.
Students emerge from the program prepared to tackle a home purchase process and meet the demands of owning and caring for a home.
All four sessions, held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. are mandatory for completion of the course, which is preceded by a one-on-one financial counselling session.
Located at PRC 923 Tchoupitoulas Street.
$75 per individual, $90 per household.
Registration is required at least two weeks in advance.
