Renovators’ Happy Hour Goes to Faubourg Tremé

Join the PRC at this happy hour to celebrate the transformation of an 1880s Greek Revival sidehall shotgun house by Historic Pro NOLA. This extensive renovation will bring new life to this historic home which has been abandoned for over 10 years.
Come enjoy refreshments while seeing preservation in action as the masonry walls and chimneys are restored, the sill beams are replaced, and all of the building’s major systems are updated. The property retains much of its historic integrity including its crossette frame, side gallery, windows, casings, and transoms. Historically, the property was located next door to Economy Hall – a famous jazz hall which was demolished.
Federal and state rehabilitation tax credits will make this restoration possible.
