Stained Glass Art in Sacred Places

This tour will highlight four styles of stained glass in Metairie houses of worship. Artist Ruth Goliwas will talk about the new windows she has created for St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Other highlights will be Congregation Gates of Prayer (presenter: Rabbi Robert Loewy) and St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church (presenter: Marcia Curole). Reception to follow in the parish hall at St. Francis Xavier church.

This tour will begin and end at St. Francis Xavier Church, 444 Metairie Road (parking is available at Avenue B). The bus will leave at 2:00 sharp, with a closing reception at the same place.

Advanced sale tickets are $16 for PRC members or $20 for non-members. Tickets purchased on the day of the event will be $25.
