The PRC is thrilled to welcome Kearney Gay as our new Director of Development. Kearney is a multi-generation New Orleanian, who comes from a family with deep ties to historic preservation. Kearney has extensive expertise in fundraising; he previously served as the Director of Development and Partnerships at the Team Gleason Foundation and at Tulane University Athletics, among other leadership roles. His exceptional achievements are underpinned by a master’s degree from Belmont University. Kearney’s track record of fostering relationships and driving successful campaigns aligns seamlessly with PRC’s commitment to preserving historic architecture and communities, and his arrival is well timed as the PRC continues its celebration of its 50th anniversary. “I am very excited to help the PRC grow in this new era,” he said. The PRC cannot wait to see the ways Kearney forges deeper ties with community partners across New Orleans and the world.
The PRC is also thrilled to welcome Ali James as our new Events and Membership Manager. Ali grew up in Natchez, Miss., where, as she says, a reverence for historic preservation and a love of gracious entertaining were practically town requirements. Ali brings 20 years of fundraising experience to this role, including roles at Trinity Episcopal School, Second Harvest, the Children’s Museum, and other organizations. Ali lives in Faubourg St. John with her poorly behaved French Bulldog, Clarke, and enjoys riding horses (and the subsequent trips to the emergency room) in her free time. We are so excited to welcome Ali to the team.
