Danny Monteverde is a sixth-generation New Orleanian who spent much of his childhood at his family’s home in the French Quarter. He covered historic preservation and the city agencies that regulate historic buildings and neighborhoods as a reporter for The Times-Picayune, New Orleans Advocate and WWL-TV. Danny has a degree in print journalism from Loyola University New Orleans. Before joining the PRC, he was director of communications for the State Library of Louisiana in Baton Rouge.
