Susan has been writing about New Orleans for more than 25 years. Since 2018, she has served as the PRC’s Director of Communications and editor of its magazine, Preservation in Print. Prior to joining the PRC, Susan worked for The Times-Picayune and was part of the team that won two Pulitzer Prizes for its coverage of Hurricane Katrina. A New Orleans native, her work has earned multiple awards and been featured in several national and regional publications. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Louisiana State University Manship School of Mass Communications and served on the Manship School’s Alumni Advisory Board. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Cancer Association of Louisiana and Community Sailing New Orleans.
