MakeNewOrleansHome.com announces its 6th annual “Newest New Orleanians’ Breakfast with the Mayor” event. The 8:00 am complimentary breakfast will be held on Thursday, October 25th, 2007 at Gallier Hall. A New Orleans-style breakfast will be provided by Dorignac’s, La Boulangerie, N O Brew, Hubig Pies and Brown’s Dairy.

“We are thrilled to have New Orleans Mayor C. Ray Nagin and John F. Young, Jr., Jefferson Parish Councilman-at-Large, welcoming new residents to the New Orleans metropolitan area,” said Suzanne Lapin, president of MakeNewOrleansHome.com. “Our community leaders understand that the most important resource of any community is its people. For the New Orleans metropolitan region to prosper, population retention and population growth are essential to economic development.” Paul Vallas, Superintendent of the New Orleans Recovery School District, will also speak at the breakfast.
