For one unforgettable weekend, some of New Orleans’ most beautiful private residences open their doors, inviting you to explore exquisitely decorated interiors, lush courtyards and gardens, and the timeless architecture that defines the Crescent City. This self-guided walking tour lets you experience each home at your own pace while enjoying live music, shopping the festive Holiday Market, and celebrating the season alongside thousands of fellow preservation and holiday enthusiasts.

Created by the Preservation Resource Center in partnership with Project Por Amor, this unforgettable travel experience includes exclusive access to the Holiday Home Tour along with many of the city’s most beloved seasonal celebrations. Guests enjoy an exclusive stay at the beautifully restored Henry Howard Hotel, reserved just for our group, creating the perfect home base for a week of festive exploration. Savor a traditional Réveillon dinner, witness the spectacular Festival of the Bonfires, stroll beneath the dazzling lights of Celebration in the Oaks, enjoy live music and cultural experiences, and explore New Orleans through the lens of preservation and local tradition.

Musical Performances
Live music is one of the hallmarks of the Holiday Home Tour, filling each historic home with the sounds of the season and creating an unforgettable experience for our guests. Throughout the weekend, talented local musicians perform in some of the Garden District’s most beautiful residences, adding warmth and holiday spirit to every stop on the tour.
