PRC presents its New York fundraiser “The Voulez-Vous” on Thursday, Jan. 17, with proceeds from the event going toward restoration of New Orleans homes and neighborhoods, as well as two local organizations, Rebuilding Together NYC and The New York Landmarks Conservancy, who are helping to rebuild after Hurricane Sandy. At The Voulez-Vous, PRC will present the 2013 Citizenship Award to New Yorker Allan V. Rose for the exquisite restoration of The Roosevelt New Orleans, an iconic hotel in downtown New Orleans dating back to 1893.

Since Katrina, PRC has restored more than 430 homes, generated $4 million in volunteer labor, completed restoration projects totaling more than $12 million, assisted more than 500 homeowners through preservation grants, and counseled more than 7,000 people via workshops and other events.
