Preservation Resource Center extends our congratulations to the former director of Rebuilding Together New Orleans (RTNO), Kristin Gisleson Palmer, as she assumes the position of Councilmember for New Orleans District “C”. This district includes the neighborhoods of Algiers, Bywater, Faubourg Marigny, Faubourg St. John, Treme, and the French Quarter.

The Inauguration Day activities were most impressive, from the service at St. Louis Cathedral, to Mayor Landrieu’s inspiring speech, to the celebration in Lafayette Square, and it is not over yet.

We are so very proud to have a former employee on the city council, and we know that she will be an incredible leader for her district and our city.

Congratulations to Kristin! And all the best in these next few weeks, from all of us at PRC….
