May 9 at 6:00pm — 10:00pm
Join us for a spectacular evening honoring 51 years of historic preservation in New Orleans at the Preservation Resource Center’s 46th Julia Jump, presented by Landis Construction. This premier event takes place at the beautifully renovated Board of Trade, a stunning New Orleans landmark that seamlessly blends historic Renaissance Revival architecture with modern elegance.
Patrons will enjoy an exclusive performance in the Board of Trade Plaza by 15-year old piano prodigy River Eckert. Hailing from a musical family, River carries the torch passed down by New Orleans piano legends such as James Booker, Professor Longhair, Dr. John and many more. He has performed at Jazz Fest, French Quarter Fest, NOLA Funk Fest at Tipitina’s, WWOZ Piano Night, and other prestigious venues in town. He is currently working on his first studio album, collaborating with George Porter, Jr., Ivan Neville, and other local icons. If you haven’t seen River play, you don’t want to miss it!
Following The patron party, guests will enjoy an elegant evening filled with delicious cuisine by Joel Catering, a fabulous silent auction, lively music, and craft cocktails in the Board of Trade Ballroom, all while toasting to over five decades of preservation achievements. Renowned artist John Bukaty will also be creating a live painting during the event—to be auctioned off live later in the evening. Plus, don’t miss our jewelry raffle presented by Beje Wholesale Diamonds and Fine Jewelry—you could win a stunning pair of ruby and diamond earrings (1.19 carats of rubies, 0.71 total carats of diamonds, appraised at $5,800).
This is a must-attend event for architecture enthusiasts, history lovers, and supporters of New Orleans’ historic charm.
Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate and support the Preservation Resource Center’s mission to protect and restore the city’s unique architectural heritage.
