New Orleans’ Favorite Holiday Tradition!
For almost 50 years the Preservation Resource Center’s Holiday Home tour has opened the doors to beautiful Garden District homes during the heart of the holiday season. The tour has grown over the years to include live musical performances, a festive boutique and more! The Holiday Home Tour is held the second weekend in December and draws delighted attendees from across the country.
The Holiday Home Tour is one of the largest fundraisers for the Preservation Resource Center, and money raised helps protect the historic architecture, neighborhoods and cultural identity of New Orleans.
The 2024 Holiday Home Tour will be held the weekend of December 14-15, 2024.
Tickets for the 2024 Holiday Home Tour go on sale July 1, 2024.
Discounts for groups larger than 10 are available. Please contact Whiton Paine for more information about group discounts.
Join sponsors and patrons as we kickoff the holiday season in style at PRC’s Holiday Patron Party the weekend before Holiday Home Tour. This festive cocktail party is held at an exquisite private residence and features an open bar, delicious cuisine, and live music. All Patrons receive two tickets to the Holiday Home Tour. In 2024, the Patron Party will be held on Friday, December 6.
We have several sponsorship levels available to fit your desired exposure and budget. The Holiday Home Tour hosts dozens of vendors, hundreds of volunteers, and thousands of preservationists. Email Dinah Campbell, Major Donor & Corporate Relations Manager, or Whiton Paine, Director of Development, to learn more.
This popular part of the Holiday Home Tour is free to the public! The boutique is located at Louise S. McGehee School and includes gift items, handmade art, clothing and jewelry. Interested in a booth? Email Niki Morris, Events Coordinator, or call 504.581.7032.
Musicians performing at the Holiday Home Tour enjoy free tickets to the event as well as a unique exposure opportunity by sharing their talents in some of the Garden District’s most beautiful homes.
