PRC Laura Plantation Tour

Join the PRC for a narrated bus tour from New Orleans to the Laura Plantation in Vacherie, LA. The Laura Plantation includes restored buildings and a new, permanent exhibit, “From the Big House to the Quarters: Slavery on Laura Plantation”. Attendees to the tour will learn about Creole life and those who lived and worked on the plantation, with a special presentation by researcher and owner, Sand Marmillon. Ticket price includes transportation, a guided tour of the plantation, and a box lunch prepared by a local restaurant. Pre-purchase is required. The bus will leave at 10:00 a.m. from the PRC headquarters at 923 Tchoupitoulas Street. Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in.
