A lively discussion took place at Loyola University on September 19th as New Orleans’ top three mayoral candidates debated a wide range of preservation and neighborhood issues. Candidates Michael Bagneris, LaToya Cantrell, and Desiree Charbonnet took their stances on many hot-button topics, including short-term rentals, riverfront overlay zoning, vacant public properties and much more.
The forum was organized by the Preservation Resource Center and the Louisiana Landmarks Society, and was hosted by Loyola’s Institute of Politics and Center for the Study of New Orleans.
