The course winds through Metairie Cemetery, a former horse racetrack turned National Historic Landmark. Established in 1872, it’s the final resting place of Louisiana governors, military leaders, and cultural figures — a place where every turn tells a story.
Best of all, every step supports preservation. Proceeds benefit Save Our Cemeteries and our work to protect and restore New Orleans’ historic burial grounds through advocacy, education, and hands-on restoration.
