Patty Gay, one of the founding members of the Preservation Resource Center and our executive director from 1980 to 2017, was honored by the Times-Picayune’s “300 for 300” Tricentennial series. The series explores and celebrates the notable people who have shaped the city through its history.

Under Patty Gay’s 37-year leadership, the Preservation Resource Center grew into the organization that we are today. Her passion and dedication to the cause of historic preservation helped to shed light on the importance of New Orleans’ architectural heritage, locally and around the world.
