James Carville and Mary Matalin are political strategists and authors. Matalin served under President Ronald Reagan, was campaign director for George H.W. Bush, was an assistant to President George W. Bush and counselor to Vice President Dick Cheney. Carville, who was the lead strategist for Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign, is a political commentator. Carville and Matalin together co-authored two books, All’s Fair: Love, War, and Running for President and Love & War: Twenty Years, Three Presidents, Two Daughters and One Louisiana Home.

Debra Shriver
Greek Revival Townhouse in the French Quarter
Debra Shriver, a former media executive with Hearst Corp., is an author, photographer and documentary producer. Her books include In the Spirit of New Orleans and Stealing Magnolias: Tales from a New Orleans Courtyard. Her latest book, “The French Leave: From Paris to Orleans Parish,” will be published this spring.

Penny Francis is an acclaimed interior designer and the owner of Eclectic Home, an interior design firm and home furnishings boutique offering custom furniture, lighting, unique accessories and artwork. Octave “Todd” Francis is the founder and managing director of FFC Investment Advisors of Raymond James.

Eastlake Center Hall in Faubourg St. John
Pulitzer is an artist, designer and stationer whose company creates luxury paper goods. Her stationery is made in New Orleans and sold in more in than 1,000 retailers worldwide. Levine is a partner in the law firm Jones Walker.

Bryan Batt and Tom Cianfichi
Raised West Indies Cottage Uptown
An actor of stage and screen, Bryan Batt is best known for his role on the hit TV series “Mad Men,” among many others. He is also an author and the co-owner of Hazelnut Fine Gifts with his husband, Tom Cianfichi. Cianfichi, who began his career in acting and directing, worked in management at stores on Madison Avenue, before launching Hazelnut on Magazine Street with Batt.

Pres Kabacoff and Sallie Ann Glassman
Environmentally Sensitive Bywater Villa
Real estate developer Pres Kabacoff is executive chairman of the board and co-founder of HRI Properties (HRI). Glassman owns the Island of Salvation Botanica, a spiritual shop in the New Orleans Healing Center, a community center housed in a former furniture store building that Kabacoff and Glassman renovated after Hurricane Katrina.
