“NEW ORLEANS – Since Hurricane Katrina, the organization Rebuilding Together New Orleans has been going to neighborhoods in need and restoring the homes of low income neighbors. “I’ve been painting the house and I was cleaning up some of the bedrooms and bathrooms inside,” volunteer Andrew Ashworth said. Ashworth, a student, is one of 700 volunteers with Rebuilding Together New Orleans. The volunteers are using some elbow grease to help restore homes for low-income homeowners in five area neighborhoods.”
