Parking
There is ample parking on Prytania street directly in front of Louise S. McGehee. We encourage vendors to bring an extra person to help during load-in and load-out. We also ask that once load-in is complete to please move your vehicle to allow other vendors access. Please do not park your vehicle on the lake side of Prytania street in front of Louise S. Display Space
Vendor space will include a minimum of one (1) 6’ table, a red tablecloth, two chairs, and 4’ of space behind the table. Some booths include more than one table and are priced accordingly. Please review the holiday market taple map and reach out to Ali James, Events Manager, if you have any questions.
Due to space restraints, vendors are not allowed to bring outside tables or furniture of any kind into the holiday market. Vertical display systems that can be placed on top of tables, or into the allotted space behind the table will be allowed. Vendors are welcome to purchase additional booths / tables (ideally side by side) if they wish to have more display space.
Vendor Booth Staffing
Vendor displays should be staffed during all hours of operation of the Holiday Market. Vendors take on the sole responsibility to collect all sales and tax monies, and to answer questions from patrons concerning merchandise. When stepping away for breaks (e.g., restroom, snacks, etc.) please ask a friend or neighbor to keep an eye on your table. The PRC is not responsible for lost or stolen items, personal or otherwise. The Holiday Market is free and open to the public, so guests and/or assistants are welcome anytime. As part of your participation in the event, you will be given two (2) tickets to the tour. Your tickets are transferrable and can be used as gifts or giveaways for event promotion.
Payments & Sales Tax
Since 2024, the City’s regulation of art markets prohibits CASH transactions. Vendors are responsible for their own sales transactions and for the collection and payment of Sales Tax to the New Orleans Department of Revenue. The City requires Sales Tax payments to be remitted within 10 business days of the event.
Wi-Fi
All vendors will have access to McGehee School’s “Guest” Wi-Fi for the purpose of connecting to their own point-of-sale platforms (e.g., Square, etc.), but the connection, stability, reliability, and signal strength of this ‘Guest’ Wi-Fi are not guaranteed. Vendors are strongly encouraged to obtain their own ‘hotspot’ or use their cellular phone as a ‘personal hotspot’ for point-of-sale transactions.
Merchandise
To promote a well-balanced market environment, vendors are expected to display only the types of items that have been listed in their Holiday Market vendor application. The PRC reserves the right to request the removal of items that were not so listed in the vendor’s application. If vendors would like to add items to their contract they must consult with PRC before December 1st, 2026 for approval.
PRC does allow a catalogue to display items not present at the market, and orders may be taken for future delivery.
The space housing the market area at McGehee School (i.e., Auditorium and Dining Hall) will be secured and locked on Friday and Saturday nights. PRC and/or Louise S. McGehee School will not be responsible for any loss, theft, or other damage associated with the merchandise, equipment, and/or items displayed or stored on the premises overnight.
Returning vendors are guaranteed their previous year’s booth location if application and payment is received by 5 p.m. September 1, 2026.
Cancellation Policy
No payment will be refunded in the event of cancellation by the vendor or if the vendor does not attend or set-up during the allotted vendor times, or you are unable to obtain the required license. Should you be unable to attend, please consider your payment as a tax-deductible donation to PRC.
