The Central Business District Historic District Landmarks Commission will perform a site visit at 121 Royal Street, the location of the proposed Royal Street high rise, on February 24 at 1 p.m.

The public is invited to attend, and a sign language interpreter will be made available upon request.

The proposed high rise at 121 Royal requires a substantial variance to the city’s current Master Plan.

The PRC strongly supports maintaining the current height limit based on the Master Plan.

Read the letter the PRC sent to the New Orleans City Council on the issue in November of last year.
