Tourism and the New Orleans Economy: Preserving New Orleans’ Future, PRC speaker series

Walt Leger III, president and chief executive officer of New Orleans & Company, will discuss the successes and challenges of the city’s tourism industry and its importance to the state’s economy. New Orleans & Company is the official destination sales and marketing organization for New Orleans. Leger was elected in 2012 and 2016 to serve as the Speaker Pro Tempore of the Louisiana House of Representatives, the youngest member to ever serve in this second-highest ranking position in the Louisiana House of Representatives. He was first elected to be the State Representative for District 91 in 2007 and re-elected in 2011 and 2015.

The PRC’s Preserving New Orleans’ Future speaker series showcases that innovation and investment to bring insight into opportunities for New Orleans’ future.
