The Preservation Resource Center will host a special reception on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, in appreciation of our Heritage Club members.

As a membership organization, the PRC depends on the continued participation of our members every year.

Heritage Club members display a vital ongoing dedication to the preservation, protection, and revitalization of New Orleans neighborhoods and architectural styles.

To join the Heritage Club, PRC members must contribute at least $300 yearly, or $25 per month.

Heritage Club members each receive one free ticket to the Holiday Home Tour, two tickets to the Heritage Club Reception, and special mention in Preservation in Print.

This year’s Heritage Club Reception will be held at The Catherine Club, the Camp Street home of L. Bryan Francher, Daniel Brockoeft, and Adrian Killam.

The Catherine Club, a 14 room Italianate building thought to have been designed by architect Lewis Reynolds around 1858, earned its name when Catherine Van Meter moved her eponymous club for “working ladies of high moral character” to the Camp Street location around 1925.

The PRC matched preservationist Sara Fulton with the historic home in the late 90s, and, after an extensive renovation, the Catherine Club has been returned to its former glory.

Light hors d’oeuvres by Ralph Brennan Catering will be served at the reception, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m.

Please RSVP by Tuesday, October 13. Contact Caroline Christman at (504) 636-3057 or email membership@prcno.org for more information.
