Martha Wright Ambrose Exhibit, Book Signing and Lecture

View an exhibit of paintings by artist Martha Wright Ambrose along with a signing of the new book on her works, "Martha Wright Ambrose: The Rediscovery of a Southern Regional Artist" by authors Roulhac Toledano and Scott Veazey. PRC Whitney Plantation Tour

Join the PRC for a visit to Whitney Plantation in Wallace, LA. Sylvia Frey, Ph.D will provide the narration during our journey which will include stories of slave rebellion, industry, and plantations along our route. The Whitney Plantation tells the story of slaves of the South, and includes restored buildings, exhibits, and a memorial to the slaves who resided on the plantation.
