Rebuilding Together New Orleans got a helping hand from several wives of New Orleans Saints players this week.
Holli Humber, Giovana Kelemete, Tonya Bush, Cari Hoomanawanui, Shervella Ellerbe, Leah Unger, and Courtney Hill joined New Orleans Saints Community Affairs Coordinator Jamie Moore and Director of Community Affairs Elicia Broussard Sheridan at an RTNO home in Algiers.
The group helped put the finishing touches on the exterior of the Pelican Street home, which also received new side steps with handrails and a new handrail on the front steps.
The RTNO crew also fixed all the rotted trim on every window of the single house, which has been owned by Ms. Marva, a retired Orleans Parish teacher who also served 16 years in the United States Army, for over 20 years.
