Explore New Orleans with the PRC
Join the Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans and Project Por Amor for a rare six-day, seven-night journey into three cultural traditions that are uniquely New Orleans. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, St. Joseph’s Day, and Super Sunday while exploring the Irish, Sicilian, and Black New Orleans communities whose traditions, creativity, and resilience helped shape the city we know today.
With insider access to historic neighborhoods, cultural celebrations, music, cuisine, and special experiences, you’ll go beyond the familiar to discover the people and stories behind New Orleans’ unmistakable character. This is an intimate invitation to experience the Crescent City through the cultures that made it extraordinary.

A Cultural and Educational Experience
More than sightseeing, this is an immersive educational journey into the heart of America’s most culturally rich city. New Orleans is the backbone of our shared culture – come experience it through the eyes of those who know it best, understand its struggles, and are actively shaping its future.
This custom-designed trip will offer access to the best of New Orleans’ cultural and historic treasures, with an emphasis on architecture and history. All accommodations, transportation, and two meals daily will be included.
All of our travel programs are presented in proud partnership with Project Por Amor, a member of Sustainable Travel International, supporting cultural exchange and sustainable travel worldwide.
