New Orleans City Council voted unanimously to temporarily suspend the issuance or renewal of “Temporary” Short Term Rental permits for 9 months.
The motion, authored by Councilmember Kristen Palmer, will temporarily ban the issuance and renewal of Temporary and Commercial Short Term Rental permits in the city’s most-impacted neighborhoods.
The ARC agreed that the new conceptual solution was “not approvable,” sending the project to the full CBD HDLC.
