About the Expert
Michelle Stanard Duhon began Southkick LLC with the goal of offering a variety of historic preservation services to both homeowners and developers in the New Orleans area. With 15 years of experience in architecture, construction, and tax credits related to historic properties, Michelle sees projects from the perspective of the designer, the contractor, and the preservationist all at once. Michelle also owns Bayou Preservation, which is an architectural conservation business that specializes in historic masonry. Michelle Duhon has recently joined forces with James Rolf to form Southkick | Rolf Preservation Works.
Michelle has a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture and an B.A. in History and Art History from the University of Georgia.
