This class offers a comprehensive approach to understanding window installation fundamentals in historic neighborhoods and homes. You will learn the basic principles of flashing and how these principles specifically apply to historic homes. We will also address the challenges of applying contemporary window products in historic settings while preserving the charm of your home. Ben Allen is the co-owner and principal at Studio BKA Architects in New Orleans. He has 20+ years of technical experience detailing building exteriors and has completed multiple projects in historic districts from New Orleans to New York City.
