Gentilly Fest 2022 will be held in Pontchartrain Park. The Oct. 7 kickoff features a night of “Jazz Under the Stars” from 6-9 p.m. On Oct. 8-9, from noon to 8 p.m. each day, there will be live music on three stages, food from local restaurants and caterers, and crafts from local vendors. Festivities also include a Kids Village with pony rides, face painting, crafts and more.
Since its founding in 2008, the festival has raised more than $40,000 for police stations, firehouses and other organizations in Gentilly. For more information, go to gentillyfestival.com.
