About the Expert

Alex Barthel and Talia Capistrano founded Cultivo, an architecture and preservation firm, in 2024. Alex has over a decade of experience in architecture and preservation, contributing this knowledge and passion to the work Cultivo produces. In addition to his role at Cultivo, Alex is an adjunct lecturer for the Tulane School of Architecture and the Built Environment.
